Cincinnati Accounting Show Prepares CPAs for Business Challenges
Two new CPE tracks and networking opportunities for accounting students and women CPAs will debut this year at the Cincinnati Accounting Show presented by The Ohio Society of CPAs (OSCPA) September 17 – 18 at the Duke Energy Convention Center.

Two new CPE tracks and networking opportunities for accounting students and women CPAs will debut this year at the Cincinnati Accounting Show presented by The Ohio Society of CPAs (OSCPA) September 17 – 18 at the Duke Energy Convention Center.
The additional tracks at the show include Financial Planning and Leadership/Lifestyle with sessions on:
- Income Tax as a Springboard to Personal Financial Planning with Ted Sarenski, CPA/PFS, CFP, AEP of the AICPA
- Top Ten Strategies to Enhance Your Impact and Effectiveness with Jerry Esselstein, CPA of Jerry L. Esselstein Company, LLC
- Public Speaking and Presentational Skills for CPAs with Peter Margaritis, CPA, CGMA of Peter A. Margaritis, LLC
The show will also feature a variety of session on health care reform, including advice for implementing the exchange and managing health care expenses in retirement presented by industry experts from Oswald Companies and Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.
Nationally recognized speakers Lynn Nichols, CPA and Mark Patrick, CPA, CVA of Nichols Patrick CPE, Inc. both experts in taxation, will cover current developments surrounding federal and business tax issues as well as strategies for the new section 1411 and tax reporting for debt cancellation.
OSCPA also is including special programming for accounting students at Ohio universities and holding a lunch to give women CPAs and those who support them a chance to discuss issues unique to that segment of the profession.
